Earlier this year, CD Projekt Red released REDkit, the official modding tool for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. While that opened up a world of possibilities for PC players, the core game has just received an incredible visual upgrade that may even surpass the title’s 2022 next-gen update.

A modder who goes by Halk Hogan released The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project: Next Gen Edition, which claims to raise “the game’s visuals to the highest level yet and enhance it to a truly next-gen masterpiece.” To back up those remarks, Halk Hogan has posted a 15-minute side-by-side comparison on YouTube that shows off the improvements.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project: Next Gen Edition is now available on NexusMods. According to the description, “Everything is carefully made with attention to every detail. All this is aimed at making the game more detailed, realistic, consistent and as faithful as possible reflecting the atmosphere of the dirty world of the Witcher.”

Like other Arcade1Up cabinets, you’re getting more than just the game the machine is themed around. The full game list includes Time Crisis, Steel Gunner, Point Blank, and Steel Gunner 2.

This isn’t the only Arcade1Up cabinet d…

Video game prop weapons are commonly seen in collections or at conventions. But it’s a bad idea to carry around a replica video game weapon that has an actual blade attached to it. Anthony Bray, a resident of Nuneaton in Warwickshire, England discovered this the hard way when police arrested him last month for carrying a replica of Link’s Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda.

Via the Warwickshire police, Bray has been sentenced to four months in prison for carrying a bladed article in public. According to the report, Bray was spotted by officers on June 8 with the Master Sword in his hands as he walked down the street. However, it’s important to note that this wasn’t simply some toy prop. There was a real blade attached on this Master Sword.

Bray told officers that he purchased the Master Sword replica online, and intended to use it as a “fidget toy” to keep his hands busy. Bray also told officers that he didn’t plan on using the sword as a weapon. But since he was openly carrying blade in public, Bray broke the law whether he intended to or not. Come from Sports betting site VPbet <…

When Fox put the first X-Men movie together, producers looked at the pages of the comics and worried about whether moviegoers would be put off by the silly clowns dancing around on the pages even as they salivated at the potential profits those silly clowns promised. They took inspiration from The Matrix, according to Kevin sports bettingFeige, and instead put the team in black leather–and then wrote in a joke about yellow spandex just to remind us what a bunch of dummies we are for liking the source material, comic books.Nearly a quarter of a century later, Marvel Studios has changed the conversation, giving us great-looking, faithful reproductions of characters like Wolverine, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, and Spider-Man among many others. They made $30 billion doing it. So why are there still so many productions out there that seem to be terrified of acknowledging their source material?DC recently debuted the movie Joker: Folie à Deux, and we’re a few episodes into HBO’s The Penguin–two dramatic adaptations of well-known DC villains that promise an in-depth look at these villains as if they were real people. Both seem to be b…
